Mr. Axelrod is also a busy voice over artist. He is the voice of Lord Zedd and Finster on the "Mighty Morphin Power Rangers". The Lord Zedd voice is one of the most recognizable character voices around. He voiced Armadillomon and Wizardmon on "Digimon, Microchip, The Punisher's sidekick, on "Spiderman", Rico on "Robotech", and has voiced countless Anime features including "Akira", "The Big O", "Cowboy Bebop", "Brain Scratch", et al. As Lord Zedd, he starred in both the first Power Rangers feature film and the wildly popular live show that toured the country. He was a regular character on Saban Entertainment's "Wowser" series (as Ratso Catso), "Journey To The Heart of the World" (as Scarface), "Hallo Spencer" (as Elmer), and more. He just finished narrating the mockumentary "Safety First: The Rise of Women and voicing four Anime series, "Gaiking", "Danguard Ace", "Captain Horlock", "The Adventures of Nadja", and "Fist of the North Star". After Power Rangers, Johnny became very involved in voice acting work for various anime titles; usually landing the lead role. His first major voice acting role was Vash the Stampede in Trigun. He will later go on and play the voices of Kaneda inAkira, Renton in Eureka Seven, Claus in Last Exile, Clair in Heat Guy J, Sakaki in Witch Hunter Robin, Mike in Please Twins, Albert in The Count of Monte Cristo, Kiba in Wolf's Rain, and Itsuki in The Melancholy of Haurhi Suzumiya. Currently he is the voice of Ichigo Kurosaki in Bleach and Lelouch Lamperouge in Code Geass. Initially launching into the underground music scene as a California garage rock band, Eyeshine evolved themselves into an aggressive edge rock outfit during 2004. The southern California-based trio debuted in 2006 with the How About That EP, whose blend of raw, unpolished modern rock was further explored on their debut full-length, Red Stripes White Lights, which was well received by their steadily growing fanbase. The band expanded to a quartet in 2007 and hit the road performing shows across the US. Eyeshine released their sophomore full length album, My Paper Kingdom in early 2009. The band has continued to tour nationwide, acquiring fans from all across the globe. Band members include Johnny Yong Bosch (guitar and vocals), Maurice Salmin (drums), Tori Dozier (bass) and Eddie Colmenares (lead guitar). In 2007 Sonny wrote and illustrated a graphic novel about a reluctant punk rock, faerie princess named Goat.

Johnny Yong Bosch got his start fighting giant bugs as Adam Park, the Black Ranger on Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. It is a role that he would play for three and a half seasons on TV, two motion pictures and two special guest appearances in future Power Rangers seasons.

Johnny’s voice can also be heard in numerous video games. He voices the main character Nero in Devil May Cry 4 and performed voiceover work in Valkyrie Profile 2: Silmeria, .hack//G.U., Persona 4, Star Ocean: Till the End of Time, Xenosaga, Wild Arms 4, Disgaea 3, Tales of Symphonia, Tales of the Abyss, Eternal Sonata and Bumblebee in Transformers: War for Cybertron.

When Johnny is not voice acting, he is the lead singer and rhythm guitarist of his band Eyeshine.

DRRR is over. Most VAs were mediocre. Seitz as Simon and Johnny Yong Bosch as Izaya are the only notable acts so far.
