My client is a market leading main contractor with a massive presence in the Australian energy and power sector. Due to ongoing structured growth they are looking for a Project Manager specialising in the Power Generation industry to join their team. My client is currently seeking a Project Manager and is happy to sponsor your visa to allow you to re-start your life and career in Australia. The Project Manager will be required to lead the tender development, design, procurement, construction and commissioning phases of large thermal generation projects. As the Project Manager you will also be responsible for client liaison and ensuring their objectives are being met, ensuring the design and construction is fit for purpose, and ensuring solutions are low risk. We are looking for you to have worked on EPCM and EPC projects combined with construction delivery experience. As our client is seeking to build large scale thermal power generation facilities you will need to be able to demonstrate recent (in the last 5years) skills, experience and education which are in this sector. A degree in engineering or demonstrated equivalent level of engineering competency will be essential for the position. We are ideally looking for you to have spent the majority of your career within thermal power projects and be an expert in the sector.
